Actors' Résumé Headshots The résumé headshot is often cited as the actor's "primary selling tool." I have been creating these selling tools since I began in photography, because I was an actor before I was a photographer. When I took up photography, my actor friends began to ask whether I took headshots. As my skills developed, I grew fond of saying "I do New York work at Richmond prices."
